Medical Emergency Preparedness

In early 2014 Oswego Health and Menter Ambulance teamed up on project to help citizens in the community be better prepared in the case of a medical emergency. Special magnetic folders have been designed, specifically for organizing all the pertinent patient information that both EMS and hospital staff will need to obtain from a patient in the case of an emergency.

Oswego Health and Menter Ambulance have completed multiple presentations to local assisted living facilities and senior citizen groups in order to actively reach out and ensure that the people in our community that may be at increased risk for medical emergencies are adequately prepared.

If you would like one of our “My Medical Emergency Files” folders please email Michele Newcomb at communityrelations@oswegocountyambulance.org, or contact our Headquarters by telephone at (315) 592-4145 and request a call back from Michele Newcomb regarding a community outreach request.

We are more than happy to send someone out from our friendly staff to help you or your loved one appropriately organize and fill out the necessary information if assistance is needed.
